Instead of doing an "iPod Update" I pressed "restore" by mistake, have I lost all my music/photos/data?
No, providing you did not transfer too much music to the iPod after you restored it we should be able to get your data back for you.
I have pictures and word documents as well as music on my iPod, can you recover all the data?
Yes, it doesn't matter if the data is music or other types of information, we endeavour to recover all of it.
I normally use my iPod with my Mac, I have now tried to copy the music to my PC at work; when I plug the iPod in it doesn’t register!! Have I lost my music?
iPods come in two different configurations, one for Mac and one for PC. Although you can see the data from both on a Mac, the iPod configured for Mac alone is formatted using HFS+ which is not readable by a standard "Microsoft Windows 2000/XP" PC. Providing that you did not attempt to format the iPod, your data is still ok.
I get a flashing folder on the iPod screen and the iPod is making a clicking sound is my music lost?
From the symptoms described, it sounds like the hard disk within the iPod is faulty, we have the skills and the tools to get your music back.
